No, we don’t want to be a substitute for the church and its work of evangelism, edification, or benevolence. We are providing an avenue for individual Christians with the intention of putting Bibles and learning tools into the hands of preachers and brethren who can use them to understand God’s word and serve Him more faithfully.

Many introductions come through contacts made by faithful gospel preachers whom we know who are traveling and teaching in these countries. They know many of these brethren personally. They also connect us with trustworthy local preachers within these countries who help identify the legitimate needs and facilitate the distributions.

We often send money directly to the preachers through Western Union who purchase the Bibles locally, either in English or in local dialects. This saves on the high cost of postage incurred when mailing them from the US. We ask the preacher to send pictures of the receipt showing the purchase and purchase price. We also ask for pictures of the Bibles and the brethren who receive them. This provides some accountability, so we know the money is spent as intended.

When Jesus enlightened His disciples that the widow who gave two mites gave a greater gift than everyone else in the temple, He made it clear that no gift from a devoted heart is too small. For instance, a gift of $2.25 will buy a single copy of the Bible Reference Guide for Personal Workers that can provide a lifetime of learning for a new convert or a gospel preacher who can wear it out over years of service to Jesus Christ.

As soon as it is received. We don’t intend to keep a large balance in a checking or savings account. All donations will be distributed to fulfil needs as soon as reasonably possible. We believe that the needs will always exceed the donations, so we don’t anticipate a time when money will be left unused.

No, we already have several more specific needs waiting for us to address, so it will take a long time to complete them all. Then there will always be new ones to replace them.

All of the organization’s administrative expenses—such as website, software, ongoing vendor fees, postage for reporting, accounting, etc—are paid personally by the directors to ensure that all of your donation is used to buy the Bibles and learning materials and to get them directly into the hands of brethren who need them.

No, and never will. We all volunteer our time and resources because we believe in this work, and because we have the same love for God’s work that you have. 

We will update the progress of ongoing campaigns monthly when possible. We will email or mail updates semi-annually. We will provide a year-end statement of total donations and expenses. It will be provided with the year-end donation receipts that we send directly to donors for income tax purposes, and we will post it on our website.
